Storytelling isn’t just for presentations—it’s one of the most powerful tools for winning work. In this interactive session, participants will learn how to apply storytelling principles across all marketing and business development content, from proposals and qualifications to presentations and internal messaging.

The session introduces a practical, repeatable framework for transforming technical information into compelling narratives that persuade, resonate, and drive decisions. Participants will explore how to identify the true “hero” of any story, understand why information alone rarely changes minds, and learn techniques for guiding technical teams toward clearer, more persuasive communication.

Key themes include:

  • Identifying the “hero” in the story
  • Why information ≠ persuasion
  • Turning any content into a compelling narrative
  • Guiding technical teams toward clearer, more persuasive messaging

By the end of the session, members will walk away with:

  • A clear understanding of why storytelling leads to better marketing and BD outcomes
  • A repeatable framework or checklist they can apply across multiple types of content
  • A revised project story they can begin using immediately
  • Increased confidence facilitating stronger messaging within their teams and firms

This session is designed to be highly practical, immediately applicable, and relevant for marketers, BD professionals, and anyone responsible for shaping messages that win work.
