Directions
Celebrate St. Patty’s a day early with SMPS Research Triangle – Join us in supporting The Green Chair Project, while enjoying time with fellow SMPS Members and an opportunity to meet the Board.
WHO?

The Green Chair Project reuses essential furnishings donated by our community to help neighbors in need facing the challenges of homelessness, crisis, or disaster. Lives change when families and individuals are nurtured and sustained in well-equipped homes.
Why it Matters
There are approximately 87,000 Wake County residents living below the federal poverty level, who cannot afford essential household needs such as furnishings for their homes or beds for children.
WHAT?
We will gather at Falcon Engineering to assemble Healthy Home Packs – essential items that ensure a clean and healthy home for those in need. After assembly, we will take time to network and give members an opportunity to meet the Board.
We are asking all attendees to pay a $15 registration fee, as this will go toward the purchase of the items to assemble the Home Packs. Consider this your donation to the The Green Chair Project, in addition to your generous time at the Social.
Pizza and an assortment of beverages will be served at the event.
PLEASE NOTE: SMPS will provide all of the items for assembly at the Social to ensure we have the correct amount of each item. Attendees should not come with items for the packs.
